The pointer is not the place

Question: Is any of this true, like our being with you?

Maharaj: No, nothing is true. Everything comes from ignorance. Due to ignorance you say that I am a Master and you are an aspirant, but in fact the Reality is you.

Due to the identification with the body-mind you think you don't know anything, so then you are compelled to come to a Master and hear what He has to say. It is nothing but a dream. What I say is also wrong, but I speak for the truth. The address is no longer necessary when you arrive at the destination.

There are no words in the stateless state. It really is quite different. All words come back from there. If someone sees an arrow pointing to the bathroom, the pointer is not the place. You can get an understanding by words, but words are no longer true when you reach the destination. What I tell you is wrong, but what I speak about is true. Words are only pointers.

Your Self is He, without self. Absolute Reality.

Your separation is due to body-mind identification. You say, "I'm this bubble." Due to mind you have become small, so you need to expand your thoughts and become bigger and bigger. Eventually the balloon will burst and you will become He. Break down the walls of your mind, and you become the sky.
